Right To education- You better have your X swapped with a Y

Sexism is still rife,
My future is destined to be an ideal wife,
Education is the only thing for which I yearn,
Like my brother I too want to read and learn,
I feel like a caged bird whose wings are cut,
Just because my Father chose to give me an X instead of Y.
